Dear 8th Grade Graduates and Families,
Congratulations, 8th Graders! On June 10, 2026, we celebrate you and all of your accomplishments. We are excited to honor this important milestone and look forward to sharing this special occasion with you and your families.
Student Arrival Information:
-
Students need to arrive by 12:00 PM and report to the 6th Grade Hallway to begin lining up.
-
Parking and gates will open at 12:00 PM.
-
The culmination ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 PM.
Parking and Entrance:
Parking and entrance to the ceremony will be available on the blacktop located on 92nd Street between Hoover and Baring Cross.
Weather and Comfort:
The weather is expected to be warm, so please plan accordingly. Chilled beverages will be available while supplies last.
Guest Expectations:
To help make this celebration enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask that:
-
Please help us keep our campus beautiful by disposing of all trash properly.
-
Umbrellas and balloons are permitted; however, we ask that guests using them sit toward the back or along the sides so as not to obstruct the view of others.
-
As students enter the ceremony, please refrain from stopping the procession, handing students items, or stepping into the walkway to take pictures.
Photo Opportunities:
There will be designated photo areas available before and after the ceremony. We ask that families use these areas to capture their special moments and then allow others the opportunity to do the same by not remaining there for extended periods.
After the Ceremony:
At the conclusion of the ceremony, please remain seated until the student processional has exited. This will help ensure a safe and efficient dismissal. Families may then reunite with their graduates on the blacktop, where several photo stations will be available.
We hope this is a memorable celebration for our graduates, their families, and our entire school community. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to celebrating with you tomorrow!
Congratulations, Class of 2026!
Sincerely,
Dr. Mitchell
