**Harte Prep Middle School Families,**

This is a friendly reminder that school will be closed on Friday, September 4, in observance of Admission Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday September 8th.

Admission Day commemorates the day California officially became the 31st state to join the United States. It recognizes California's admission to the Union on September 9, 1850, and is observed by many schools and state agencies including LAUSD.

We hope you enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to seeing our students back at school ready to learn!
